Kurt Foundry is a custom iron casting foundry and manufacturer running green sand and furan resin sand casting lines dedicated entirely to custom iron castings. Send a drawing, a sample, or a target spec, and our metallurgists turn it into a casting plan — alloy, pattern, gating, and heat treatment included.
Two iron families cover most industrial applications: grey iron for damping and cost efficiency, ductile iron for strength and impact resistance. Both are cast, machined, inspected, and packed under one roof at our foundry in Weifang, Shandong.

Castings leave the sand mold as rough blanks. From there, parts can stay as-cast, receive selective machining on critical faces, or go through full precision machining to final assembly dimensions.

It depends on the load. Grey iron suits parts needing vibration damping and lower cost, such as machine bases. Ductile iron suits parts under impact or tensile load, such as brackets and housings that see shock loading. Send your drawing and load case and we recommend a grade.
